the city’ that was always normal, that was always sane. the city that never had a problem, not any trouble, all was okay.
those things’ that came to that city, that made it their home. they made the peaceful city change.
mysterious’ deaths, humans who have been drained of their life. humans who were loved, and who now are missed.
strange’ sightings of humans drinking other’s blood, taking away their life.
not human’ those who drink the other’s blood. they are vampires, those who survive by drinking blood, preferably human.
terror’ has swept through the city. though some seem to be able to live with it. actually most of the city seem relaxed about it now.
no more’ panic and frustration about where loved ones had gone.
then strange’ things began happening. those humans that had disappeared without a trace were returning. but not the same.
they’ were different, not human as it seemed, though they appeared so, but to those that knew them, they were different.
loved ones’ looked at their families like a lion stares down its prey as it is about to strike it down.
worry’ soon swept the city again, but this time it was different. people began to be too cautious around those that they loved.
but when’ a strange loved one told the truth about what had happened to them, the panic stopped.
instead’ humans began killing their changed loved ones. beheading them, and they would die.
time’ went by and the bloodsuckers moved on, finding other places to feed.
but secretly’ some stayed, keeping a low profile and only feeding when they were extremely hungry.
a new’ wave of vampires now called the city home, though their identity was kept a secret.
they’ were able to blend with the humans and call themselves one too.
it worked’ and these vampires still call the city their home feeding only when necessary.
others’ have discovered that this works and do the same in their cities and towns.
some’ have come to the city to make it their home too. the vampires live and love those humans that they share their life with.
make the city your home’
