Mack walked aimlessly around the camp area, searching for a decent and quiet place and hoping she wasn‘t breaking any rule about being out without supervision or something. Honestly, she still didn’t fully understand why she had choose to come here in the first place. I mean, yes, she was sick of her parents controlling her life and friendships but running away for some camp? That didn’t sound like her at all.
She sighed when she spotted the lake. It seemed calm enough, with the sun making it’s surface shine… well, at least it was quiet.
She got onto to the do dock and walked to the edge, laying on the hard wood and pulling her iPod and sketchpad out of her messenger bag. She flipped the book open and turned the iPod on. Looking at the lake, she started to draw it.
