Axel opened the door to the music room. It was dark and silent. He flipped on the light as he went into the room with a smile. It was summer again, which meant he was back at the camp. It was his third year. He couldn't wait to see old friends, but first he wanted to do some playing in the music room. He went over to the piano and sat down. It had been awhile since he'd actually played the piano, since he'd left the camp, really. He smiled as he began playing one of the band's newer songs. The music filled the room and he softly began to sing along. It felt good to be back at camp, it was like a second home to him. Axel knew he was in for a hectic summer, what with being there at camp and having to run to the recording studio every couple days. It was going to be rough, but he was excited. The band had finally gotten a record deal, after being together for years. Axel finished playing the song, and looked around the room with a smile. His eyes were quickly drawn back to the door. Someone was standing there. Axel had no idea how long the other person had been there, or how much of the song had been heard. As usual, his insecurities about the newer songs hit as he wondered what the other person thought. "Hi," he said to the person, smiling slightly.
